More than plentiful entrees at a reasonable price. Prompt service and a very clean environment. The refried beans were plentiful and hot, though a bit lacking in flavor. The shrimp fajitas were excellent, with lots of peppers and large count shrimp. They serve masa or flour tortillas or a mix of both with entrees. They were hot, fresh and flavorful. The bathroom is diffcult to navigate for wheelchair customers and the entry was accessbile, though very difficult to get into in a wheelchair. The servers did rush to assist, but it was not crowded at the time.

The only good restaurant I have been to in Johnson Creek. Try the burrito meal. It's very good. The margaritas are amazing. They have every flavor imaginable, and they are HUGE...and delicious.

Fiesta Garibaldi is a great Mexican restaurant. I meet my mom there for dinner on occasion and always have a good meal. They have your standard Mexican items, tacos, burritos, enchiladas, etc. They also have some more unusual items on the menu. I really like the chicken enchiladas. That is what I order most of the time when I'm there. They are filled with good pulled chicken, and cheese. I like the green sauce the best on top. The service is good too.

The food here is greasier than fast food! I had a steak enchilada with verde sauce and when I cut it open, it literally oozed with grease. Yuck! I'm someone who will usually finish all the food on my plate, and if I don't I'll have it packed up to go. I didn't finish the food, and I didn't want to take it home. The food didn't exactly taste horrible, but I also wouldn't say it tasted good. Due the excessive amounts of grease, I wound up with a terrible stomach ache a few hours later. My friends had similar opinions about their dishes of quesadillas and chicken fajitas. In fact, my friend who had the quesadilla said it was the worst she's ever had. How do you mess up a quesadilla?! We originally came here because it was an easy meeting place right off the highway for my friends coming from all different directions, but this place will not be worth the convenience in the future!

Went there and tried to use a restaurant.com coupon and was told that I could not use it even though it was still valid after they called about it, but they still said they would not accept it. No big deal still ate and had fun. The next day I found out when calling about the coupon that even though they said they would not accept the coupon from me they still called it in and tried to collect from restaurants.com to get reimbursed from them. So in short they can't be trusted and are shady and I will take my business someplace else rather than dealing with people that try to screw over their customers.

I had the worst beef taco, made days before served and frozen until ordered , water all over the plate and the taco was still cold in the middle.never again.

We have visited several times and have never been disappointed Authentic Mexican is the route to go although the 'American' meals are very good.

The food was mediocre at best and the service was terrible. The waitress was unable to get the drink or food orders right. When the food arrived, the order was still incorrect. Will not return, would not recommend! And we are still waiting for the check ... 20 minutes so far and no sign of our waitress!

Mmmmm delicious enchiladas! Great beans and rice! Staff is friendly, food comes quick, delicious and piping hot! Their guacamole seems to be a bit hit or miss and the last time we received a basket of stale chips and their complimentary salsa is just OK. Though, it's their entrees that shine here. My husband had the Quesadillas con Rajas last time and I very much enjoyed the bite I had! I've seen a few platters of fajitas making their way to other tables and I must try those next time - they look and smell delicious! All in all, great place!

Excellent restaurant and worth seeking out. Menu does contain Tex-Mex but there is more. We have explored the menu and know that the Red Snapper dishes are the best items on the menu. This trip I tried the Tampiquena which is a slice of very tender skirt steak with arbol sauce and frijoles de la olla. Was great but too much to eat. Came with grilled potatoes Mexican style I guess. Yum Try one of the dishes containing chucks of pork. Just depends on with sauce you like better. Excellent

i was surprised to find this place out near Prime Outlet of Johnson Creek. The chips they bring to table right away were thinner than usual and very crisp. Loved them. Came with two types salsa. One was great the other starts a fire in your mouth. Guess some ppl like that. LOL I had the lunch special of 2 enchilada for $6.25. It came with salad, beans and rice. No charge for sour cream. My sister had the taco sale which was topped with red and green chips. Such a nice touch. I took a pic with iPhone but don't think i can post from PC.

Shockingly Disgusting! Ground beef chimichanga had pieces of carrot, celery, and potato in it. The crust was soggy instead of crispy because it was clearly microwaved instead of deep fried. My tamales were charred on the ends because they were microwaved instead of steamed, and they were NOT hand rolled as described. The restaurant itself is beautiful, clean and nice windows to look out of. This restaurant is right next door to a meat market which they clearly DO NOT USE. What a shame! If you are looking for indigestion then give them a try, if you want quality food then STAY AWAY. The service was below average, and the televisions broadcast in spanish which is nice for the employees to watch to kill time during their shifts because they sure are not working.

Tequila. Tequila tequila tequila. Fiesta Garibaldi's got it. Somewhere between 30-50 varieties, to be not at all exact. A couple friends and I drove to Johnson Creek to meet a friend from Milwaukee to see a movie, and afterward the four of us decided to grab a drink. We stumbled upon Fiesta Girabaldi, and decided that it looked just festive enough for a drink. What was meant to be one drink ended up being me having half a drink and my three companions getting smashed. I ordered a strawberry margarita, and was rewarded with a giant (no, seriously, GIANT) blended marg from a machine. While most pre-mixed margaritas are so-so, this one was really pretty boozy and not too sugary. After about a quarter of it, I stopped drinking and passed it off to my friend who had spilled much her house margarita rocks. I had volunteered to be the designated driver, and my empty stomach combined with the amount of tequila in my drink was quickly leading to that not being an option. After getting some free chips & salsa from the bartender, the rest of the gang decided to sample one of the tequilas on the wall behind the bar. One quickly became two, which became three, (the final being compliments of the bartender), and then four with addition of a honey whiskey shot, also compliments of our new best friend. The bar closes when the restaurant does (11 PM), but the bartender was kind enough to let us stay for about 30 minutes after, allowing some of the tequila to settle. The downside of the Fiesta Girabaldi bar is that it's a little pricey - the shots were $5 and the margaritas $9, and it's pretty small. However, most people are probably going there for dinner, not a night at the bar, so size and affordability for multiple drinks are probably not the highest of concerns.

Fantastic alternative to the chain restaurants off 94. Great pork tacos and chili rellenos!

Ugh...I ate here tonight and it. was. awful. My husband said his was gross too. I got a combo plate with a taco, tamale, and chile relleno. The steak in the taco looked and tasted gross and the tamale was obviously frozen (and disgusting). I'm pretty sure none of the stuff was made in house. You're better off going to El Mariachi or better yet, Taqueria Maria in Watertown. I'm done with Garibaldi's. (Can't believe we wasted our money there). Oh, and my husband had a steak burrito. He said after that he hoped he wouldn't get sick.

They have a very hard working staff. They are always willing to have a conversation with you if you talk to them about things other than ordering food. Their food is the best Mexican food around. I really enjoy their enchiladas Rojas plate. Their food comes out hot and fast. It is always clean as well.

This place has a fun atmosphere and consistantly good food. Their fajitas come with plenty of tortillas too, which is always a plus!

We were truly surprised by how good the food actually was. Yes, all the food were not fantastic but it certainly was as authentic as it gets in America. It may not be served and plated beautifully as in Frontera but it is served as it would be at a party in Mexico. The food was tasty and good. Decor reminds me of a highway trucker bar but who cares, the food was good. They were very friendly and the service was friendly. I think this is the best I have had in Johnson Creek - 3.5 stars

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
